Corey Hartford is the Director of Content at Mahalo.com, his position stemming from a history of endurance and a love of content and community management. Hartford is also co-founder/Director of Product for the Jewish news and community site, TheDailyRabbi.com. 

Born and raised in the state of Texas, Corey currently resides in sunny Santa Monica with his wife, where they enjoy writing songs, reading books, and riding Razor scooters along the beach.

Hartford grew up in Houston, Texas and earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin. He claimed a BS in Radio-Television-Film with a focus in recorded audio, which was inspired by his long history of musical performance and production.

Following his education in Austin, Hartford attended Carnegie Mellon University, where he earned his Masters Degree in Entertainment Industry Management, graduating with highest honors.c

Corey began working for Mahalo in November of 2009 as the Community Manager for Mahalo Answers. He came to Mahalo after working in the creative and digital departments for Warner Bros Films and EMI Records.c

Shortly after beginning at Mahalo, Hartford was charged with leading the creation, curation and growth of over 200 niche Q&A sites under the Mahalo Answers network. He is responsible for all content, community and analytics for all of his products, with over 100 writers and millions of monthly unique pageviews under his direct lead.
