On Friday, March 12, 2010, the California Attorney General stated that he and his office have uncovered a large prescription drug ring that is linked to Corey Haim. It is reported that several unauthorized prescriptions under Corey's name have been found. This drug ring is said to operate by means of filling out illegitimate prescription pads.

Corey Haim started out as a child actor in 1984. His first film was a movie called Firstborn. Two years later he starred in Lucas with Kerri Green, Charlie Sheen and Winona Ryder. As a teen, he often starred in movies with friend Corey Feldman. He had a major role in 1987's The Lost Boys with Corey Feldman, Jason Patric, Keifer Sutherland and Jami Gertz.
