About the Game

In CORE, players take on the role of Jason Crane, member of an elite military unit. The game is set in the year 2028, after a meteor has landed in California's Mojave Desert. Radiation from the meteor quickly begins affecting all life in the immediate surroundings and scientists are dispatched to conduct experiments on the transformations. A research facility, dubbed C.O.R.E., is established and the experiments continue for 20 years with little problem...until one day all communication ceases with no explanation. Crane is assigned with penetrating the facility and the mystery.
According to developer NoWay Studio, CORE pushes the Nintendo DS to its limits. The game's graphics and sound are entirely in 3D, with fully dynamic lighting, weather effects, and a realistic day/night cycle. The environment is highly dynamic, with various switches, computers and other items to interact with. A robust enemy AI system rounds out the experience.
The game's multiplayer mode supports up to four local players using only one game card. There will be approximately eight different maps, each with unique offerings like rocket boots and jump pads. The modes offered include Death Match, Team Arena and Capture the Flag.Official Site: C.O.R.E.
