Coralrose Fullwood was a 6-year-old girl who was found brutally murdered and sexually assulted down the street from her North Port, Florida home. Initially, there were no arrests made in regards to Fullwood's murder. However, on August 12, 2008, nearly two years following the murder, authorities arrested Patrick D. Murphy. Murphy's DNA matched the traces of non-familial DNA found on Fullwood's body during the initial investigation.

Prosecutors say DNA evidence points to Patrick D. Murphy as the man who murdered and raped Fullwood in 2006. The young girl's body was found two blocks from her home at a construction site. While Murphy is in custody of the police, there is still the possibility that additional arrests will be made in the future.
