  • Plot Summary

    Freddy Hefflin (Sylvester Stallone) is the Sheriff of Garrison, NJ a quite town outside of New York. Many NYPD live in Garrison, most of whom are childhood friends of Hefflin. The peace is disturbed, when Internal Affairs investigator Lt. Moe Tilden (Robert De Niro) uncovers a mafia corruption amongst cops living in Hefflin's town. When faced with the ugly truth about his friend's illegal activities, Hefflin must choose between loyalty and justice.
