Coolio is a Grammy Award winning rapper and actor whose 1995 album Gangsta's Paradise went platinum four times. The single "Gangsta's Paradise" was number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The single was also featured on the soundtrack of the film Dangerous Minds. His latest album Steal Hear was released on July 29, 2008.

According to TMZ.com, Coolio was arrested for possession of crack cocaine on March 6, 2009, at LAX when a TSA agent found the drug on his body during a security screening. In recent years, Coolio has made a number of television appearances. He competed on Celebrity Fear Factor in 2002 and starred in the television movie Dracula 3000 in 2003. Coolio was on a 2006 episode of VH1's Celebrity Paranormal Project. In 2008, he began hosting a cooking show online called Cookin' With Coolio.

In October 2008, Coolio premiered Coolio's Rules on the Oxygen network. The reality show follows the rapper and his four children as they try to launch a catering business.
