  • Using

Making cookies with a cookie press is a fast way to get the cookie baking done. The cookie press provides a fast means of making cookies with the same size and shape all with a push of a button per cookie.

Not all cookie dough can be used with a cookie press. The dough should have a soft texture and is usually made with softened butter and minimal mixing to allow for a dough with little trapped air. You shouldn't use a cookie press with any cookie dough that has solid pieces such as oatmeal or chocolate chips

If the cookie does not retain its shape on the cookie sheet the dough is too soft. To remedy this set the cookie press in the refrigerator for fifteen minutes.

If the cookies are coming out too dry add a teaspoon or two of milk to the dough.
