Continental Airlines OnePass Frequent Flyer policy set forth the rules and limitations on earning reward travel credits. The frequent flyer miles are available to members of the OnePass program. To earn points, members flight's must qualify for the program and the tickets have to be purchased at full price. Continental's frequent flyer miles are calculated by the amount of actual miles flown between the traveler's departure location and destination. If there are any flight connections during your trip, Continental gives reward credits for each "segment" or individual flight.
In the event that a flight has been canceled by the airline on the day the traveler was set to fly, Continental will arrange another flight and the frequent flyer credits will be calculated according to the new flight. Continental's policy states that if the flight was canceled due to "uncontrollable circumstances (e.g., work stoppage or weather)" the OnePass member will not receive the rewards miles.http://www.continental.com/CMS/en-US/Marketing/CustComm/Promotions/Pages/continental.aspx
