Conor Oberst
Conor Oberst is a singer-songwriter from Omaha, Nebraska that has been playing music live since he was a teenager. He and his brother started and run Saddle Creek Records, home to such bands as The Faint and Cursive. Oberst is best known for his band Bright Eyes, and is currently involved with Conor Oberst & The Mystic Valley Band.
On June 15, 2009, it was announced that both Oberst and Mogis would be teaming up with M. Ward for a project under the name 'Monsters of Folk.' The trio will release an album under that name on September 22, 2009.http://strangeglue.com/news/oberstjamesward-team-up-for-album/10005164

Their last album was released back in 2007, according to Wikipedia. However, Conor Oberst, their frontman, is currently active with Conor Oberst & the Mystic Valley Band.
