Plot
Popular teenager Mary "Lola" Elizabeth Cep is convinced that her home city revolves around her. Unfortunately, her family moves from New York City to a small suburb in New Jersey. Lola competes against the popular Carla Santini. Pursued by the handsome Stu Wolff Lola chooses to focus her attention on winning back her title of "Most Popular Girl in School". With the help of a frumpy drama teacher and a shy new friend Ella, Lola creates a dramatic performance to earn back her coveted status. -
