Jigenin Temple on Okinawa Island in Japan has seen a 30% increase in attendance, mostly attributed to Conan the chihuahua, a dog who imitates the Buddhist style of prayer. A priest at the temple says the praying dog may be "showing his thanks for treats and walks."
