ConAgra Foods is a top U.S. food producer, providing both packaged and frozen foods. ConAgra is responsible for many of the most popular brands found on supermarket shelves, from Jiffy Pop to David sunflower seeds. They also sell their products to restaurants and food service establishments.
On the morning of June 9, 2009, a major explosion collapsed the roof of a ConAgra plant in Garner, North Carolina. Two people were found dead beneath the rubble and over 40 were injured.
