Five people were badly injured when a small plane crashed into a Los Angeles neighborhood in April 2007. The Cessna 310, a twin engine plane, went down around 4 pm April 12, 2008, near the Compton/Woodley Airport. The plane's fuselage crashed through a roof of a home and its left wing was lodged in a second house. The two men on the plane and three people on the ground were badly hurt. The crash did not result in a fire.
