Company of Heroes is a real-time strategy video game developed for the PC. The game is based on World War II with the player commanding two U.S. military units during the Battle of Normandy and the Allied capture of France, giving the option to fight as Allied or Axis forces. There are large differences in the two forces. Allied forces are cheaper, numerous and more versatile. Axis forces are more expensive, fewer in numbers and often more powerful.

Company of Heroes may be played with 2-8 players via LAN or the Internet. Throughout the game, there are six missions to complete, D-Day, Battle of Carentan, Battle of Cherbourg, Operation Cobra, Operation Lüttich and Falaise Pocket.
