Community is a television sitcom that will air on NBC. The show centers around the fictional Greendale Community College and stars Joel McHale and Chevy Chase.
Community debuted on NBC on Thursday, September 17, 2009 in the 9:30 PM timeslot. Beginning October 8 the show will air at 8:00 PM.

Plot
The story begins with Jeff, a lawyer played by Joel McHale, learning that his license has been revoked by the state after they learned that his degree was from Colombia the country, rather than Columbia University. In an effort to earn a law degree from an American university, Jeff enrolls at Greendale Community College.He meets Britta, a student played by Gillian Jacobs, and invites her to a Spanish study group, that he pretends to run. Also in the group is Pierce, an older man who has been divorced five times played by Chevy Chase. In what NBC describes as "Breakfast Club fashion," the students bond together, learning more about each other than their courses.
