Command and Conquer Walkthrough

Command and Conquer (often abbreviated to "C&C") or known by it's full title Command and Conquer:Tiberian Daw was the first entry in a long spanning real time strategy franchise, headed by Westwood Studios on August 31, 1995. The long running franchise spans 10 games and 8 expansion packs.

Many of the games (save for C&C 4) were made available for download at the official site in order to celebrate the franchise's 12th anniversary.

Command and Conquer Back Story

Command and Conquer is set in an alternate version of 1995. The story centers around two globalized factions: the Global Defense Initiative (GDI) of the United Nations, and the Brotherhood of Nod. A newly discovered and dangerous recourse named Tiberium is quickly infecting and covering the world causing disaster in it's wake.

Through terrorist tactics and political intrigue, the GDI and the cult like Nod are both keen on using the volatile material for their own ends. Both factions finding the material highly useful are both fiercely fighting for sole control of it at any cost.

Command and Conquer Gameplay

Each mission starts out with a stated objective (will be noted verbatim later under each mission). When it comes to wining a map:

  1. Build necessary buildings first - the base, harvesters, barracks.
  2. Build a good defensive around base (turrets and a small ground defensive by key points in your base).
  3. Make sure you have a decent amount of resources - a battle becomes much harder when you cannot build or power down units!*
  4. After securing the base, then build an army.
  5. When feasible, build a second base (for the off chance the first gets destroyed.)
  6. Send a sacrificial lamb to uncover uncovered parts of the map (or use special attacks later in game) to see enemy movement and placement).
  7. Bolster your attach - kill aerial and ranged units first, then tanks. Then go for buildings especially power sources and refineries.

Note: The colored bar represents the current power output. The blue marker represents the current power usage. When you use more power than available, your base experiences blackouts and brownouts. Which either causes currently units to function at various diminish capacities, or shuts down certain units entirely.

  • A green bar represents a surplus of power.
  • A yellow bar represents a brownout.
  • A red bar represents a serious blackout.

Tiberium, the source of energy in this game can be replenished- but at a cost. Blossom trees serve as replenishing centers for tiberium. After you harvest all of the tiberium from around a tree, it will grow back but releases spores in the process. These spores damages any units directly next to it, so watch your units if they are nearby a diminishing tiberium node!

Command and Conquer Keys

Many commands like build, or the placing of units can be done from the in game interface. But their are many keys that are available in the game - many that are not in the users guide! Here are the ones most liked to be needed-

TAB: Open/Close Sidebar

This opens and closes the sidebar allowing for more view of the tactical map.

<CTRL>-# : Team Creation

This marks a group of units as a team.

  1. Use your mouse button and shift key or the bounding box.
  2. Then use CTRL and a number key (0-9) to assign the selected units as a team.

0-9 : Team Selection

The number keys select a team as currently active.

G : Guard Area

This will cause a selected group of units to go into guard mode. In this mode, units will scan with binoculars for enemy units, and move to attack any that come within their sighting range.

CTRL+ALT (held down) : Guard Area or Unit

This turns your cursor into a defend cursor. Selected units will patrol around a building or unit and protect it from attack.

S : Stop Unit

Causes a unit to stop all movement.

X : Scatter Units

This causes a selected group of units to scatter.

SHIFT(held down): Select Additional Units

This will let you select additional units to do a group order (usually to get a group of attack units to attack the same enemy target).

ALT(held down)+Left Click: Force Move

Your movement cursor into a movement only cursor - moved units will move only instead of attack.

Ctrl(held down)+Left Click

This makes your selected unit(s) force-fire on a target, even if it's a friendly unit, building, or just bare ground.

H

Pressing this will center your screen on your primary Construction Yard.

You can suspend or cancel build commands by clicking with your primary mouse button on the unit icon that is currently being built. This will turn the unit icon gray to signify that the building has been put on hold. From this stage, clicking with your primary button will resume building, and clicking with your secondary button will cancel the build order.

Command and Conquer Units

There are 4 classes of units in the game - Infantry, Vehicles, Buildings, and Special Units. Listed is a summary of each and a list of the many types found in game.

Infantry

Military infantry units take half of normal weapons damage while prone. They will fall prone when fired upon, and move by crawling on their bellies. Crawling reduces movement rate by half. To force any prone infantry unit back on to their feet, double click when you give them movement commands.

Buildings build certain units, power other buildings and units, and can bolster base defense. Downside is they are prone to lose productivity with damage and can become useless if a power source is cut (or the current power usage of all units is exceeded).

Certain conditions have to be met to create these units. Many of them are 1 times use or have long cool-downs over the course of a battle.

GDI Mission 1

Objective:

"Use the units provided to protect the Mobile Construction Vehicle. (MCV) You should then deploy the MCV by double clicking on it. Then you can begin to build up a base. Start with a Power Plant. Finally, search out and destroy all enemy Nod units in the surrounding area."

You start with units - protect the Mobile Construction Vehicle (MCV) and clear all NOD off the map. The first mission is very simple.

  1. The gunboat on the water can pretty much handle the three turrets on its own, but you can send your infantry over there to help it out if you'd like.

This part is optional but if you want to steam roll the map-

  1. Deploy the MCV by double clicking on it.
  2. Build up a base (Start with a Power Plant from the menu).
  3. Search out and destroy all enemy Nod units in the surrounding area.
  4. Group up the minigunners (that arrive a bit into the mission) in teams of 5.
  5. Scout with your vehicles.
  6. When you find trouble, retreat your vehicle back to your minigunners, and they will make short work of the pursuers.

Even without making a base you can clear this map with the given units you start with.

  1. Defend against the few units that attack your base,
  2. then move north and wipe out the Nod troops hiding in the trees.
  3. This mission is short and will end once the last NOD unit falls.

GDI Mission 2

Setting - Estonia

Objective:

"Defend your position, deploy the MCV, then build a sizable force to search out and destroy the Nod base in the area. All Nod units and structures must be either destroyed or captured to complete objective."

  1. Repair your barracks.
  2. Move your forces north and clear a route towards the Nod base.
  3. Deploy your MCV.
  4. Build a power plant.
  5. Train another ten soldiers.
  6. Send them towards the Nod base along with the engineers your given.
  7. Fight your way into the middle of the NOD base.
  8. Have the soldiers deal with the Nod units,
  9. and send your three engineers into three of the Nod buildings to capture them.
  10. Kill off the remaining NOD units.
  11. Head west and look for the harvester and destroy it.

GDI Mission 3

Setting - Latvia

Objective:

"Build up forces to destroy Nod base. Once all Nod SAM sites are neutralized then air support will be provided to combat obstacles such as turrets. Destroy all units and structures to complete the mission objective."

  1. Use your forces to fight off the Nod assaults
  2. Deploy your MCV and build a power plant and a refinery.
  3. Use the Tiberium nearby - just keep your infantry out of it! (The stuff hurts them.)
  4. Train some minigunners at your barracks.
  5. Move them east just above the Tiberium field.
  6. Clear out the Nod soldiers in the trees nearby.
  7. The first of four SAM sites is nearby - destroy it.
  8. Send troops through the gap in the ridges north above your base.
  9. Wipe out the second SAM site and NOD units you find there.
  10. Destroy the harvester by the the Tiberium field to the east of the SAM site.
  11. Destroy the third SAM site to the north-west.
  12. Attack the southern entrance of the Nod base.
  13. Destroy the two turrets and Nod troops.
  14. Destroy the third turret on the east side of the base,
  15. then move on to the rest of the buildings in the base.
  16. The fourth SAM site is south-east of the Nod base is the last thing that needs to be eliminated off the map.

GDI Mission 4

Setting - Poland (Left Route)

Objective:

"Nod has captured classified GDI property. You must find and retrieve the stolen equipment. It is being transported in a shipping crate. Use the new APC to strategically transport infantry through Nod forces."

  1. Fight the Nod forces that attack at mission start.
  2. Load your infantry into the two APCs to go on a field trip-
  3. west through the Tiberium field.
  4. Move to the bottom of the map and continue moving west until you reach the south-western corner.
  5. Head directly north and find the Nod base.
  6. Touch the crate in the small fenced area.

Setting - Poland (Center Route)

Objective:

"Nod is moving to capture and hold a civilian town. Your mission is to reach the town first and hold off invading Nod units until GDI reinforcements arrive. All invading Nod units must be destroyed."

  1. Fend off the initial Nod attack.
  2. Move your units east to the bridge.
  3. Clear the Nod forces on the eastern side of the bridge, then return to the western side and look for some soldiers in the trees.
  4. Head south through the gap where you originally started (Make sure you check the trees for Nod troops).
  5. Move east, and go over the water crossing.
  6. Fight off the infantry and buggies and check the trees to the north.
  7. Move south along the eastern edge of the map.
  8. Cross the bridge by the barn.
  9. Move all of your forces west.
  10. You'll find a village here (and you'll receive some reinforcements on the

western edge of the town).

  1. Move them east to the entrance.
  2. Use all of your forces to fight off the Nod attack.

Setting - Belarus (Right Route)

Objective:

"Nod has captured classified GDI property. You must find and retrieve the stolen equipment. It is being transported in a shipping crate. Use the new APC to strategically transport infantry through Nod forces."

  1. Destroy the two buggies that attack.
  2. Load your infantry into the two APCs.
  3. Send your three vehicles north over the Tiberium field.
  4. Then go north-east and continue moving north past the trees.
  5. Go to the top of the map,
  6. then turn south-east and continue moving to the far eastern edge.
  7. Head due south, then turn west, and find their base.
  8. Reach the crate inside the small fenced area in the Nod

base to end the mission.

GDI Mission 5

Setting - Germany (Lower Route)

Objective:

"A GDI field base is under attack. They have fended off one attack but will not survive another. Move to the base, repair the structures and then launch a strike force to destroy the Nod base in the area. Destroy all Nod units and structures."

  1. Move south along the western edge of the map.
  2. Turn to the right when you reach the bridge.
  3. Your base is located here - the buildings will be damaged and will need repair.
  4. Train some grenadiers.
  5. Send your medium tanks to the small Tiberium field directly north of your base on the other side of the water and check behind the tree that looks different from the others. There's an orange colored crate hidden behind the tree (contains two thousand credits).
  6. Return the tanks to the base.
  7. Move your grenadiers east, then turn them north at the eastern edge of the map.
  8. The Nod base is in the north-eastern corner - take out the pair of turrets guarding the southern entrance.
  9. Defeat the Nod troops and destroy all structures.
  10. Make sure you take out their harvester as well.
  11. Destroy the SAM site north of your base.

Setting - Germany (Upper Route)

Objective:

"A GDI field base is under attack. They have fended off one attack but will not survive another. Move to the base, repair the structures and then launch a strike force to destroy the Nod base in the area. Destroy all Nod units and structures."

  1. Move east near the screen's bottom
  2. Your base will be on the other side of the Tiberium field.
  3. Repair all of the damaged buildings.
  4. Train some grenadiers.

Four SAM sites are on the map - destroy them, and the carpet bombing ability will be unlocked.

  1. One of them is to the left of the bridge in the middle of the map.
  2. The next is north-east of the bridge on a small ridge. (Underneath that ridge, you'll find an orange colored crate full of extra credits).
  3. The other two SAM sites are on the southern edge of the Nod base.
  4. Use the medium tanks to destroy them.
  5. Once all four SAM sites are destroyed, use your carpet bomber on the Nod base.
  6. Then send in the rest of your forces to clean up.

Setting - Ukraine (Left Route)

Objective:

"A GDI field base is under attack. They have fended off one attack but will not survive another. Move to the base, repair the structures and then launch a strike force to destroy the Nod base in the area. Destroy all Nod units and structures."

Refer to the Germany upper route (It's identical).

Setting - Ukraine (Right Route)

Objective:

"A GDI field base is under attack. They have fended off one attack but will not survive another. Move to the base, repair the structures and then launch a strike force to destroy the Nod base in the area. Destroy all Nod units and structures."

Refer to the Germany upper route (It's identical).

GDI Mission 6

Setting - Czech Republic (Left Route)

Objective:

"Use a GDI Commando to infiltrate the Nod base. **** ** destroy the ******** so that the base is incapacitated. Get in, hit it, and get the **** out."

  1. Take out the two soldiers on the north side of the bridge.
  2. Check behind the trees north-east of the bridge to find another Nod soldier.
  3. Detonate the SAM site nearby.
  4. Turn west.
  5. Kill off both the rocket guy there, and the one hiding in the trees south of the SAM site.
  6. Detonate the second SAM site to get a Chinook.
  7. It will land nearby, and you can put the Commando inside the Chinook.
  8. Have the Comando and Chinook go to the town where the flare is.
  9. Get the Commando out of the Chinook near the flare in the town.
  10. Move him north.
  11. Look for a buggy on the road between the ridges, as soon as it moves north
  12. run the Commando up there and turn east down the road between the ridges.
  13. Follow the road north-east.
  14. Defeat the Nod soldiers on patrol near the turrets.
  15. Pick off the minigunners.
  16. Rush into the Nod base (ignore the turrets).
  17. Detonate one of the power plants and the mission will be complete.

Setting - Czech Republic (Right Route)

Objective:

"Use a GDI Commando to infiltrate the Nod base. **** ** destroy the ******** so that the base is incapacitated. Get in, hit it, and get the **** out."

Refer to the Czech Republic left route (It's identical).

GDI Mission 7

Setting - Czech Republic

Objective:

"Previous mission objective not complete. Airfield was to be targeted. New objective: Build up a base and Destroy remaining Nod structures and units. Reinforcements will be provided."

  1. Deal with the initial Nod attacks.
  2. Deploy your MCV when it arrives.
  3. Build a power plant and a refinery to the north of the beach.
  4. Build a barracks and a pair of guard towers (one above your refinery and one to guard the eastern entrance of your base).
  5. Build a weapons factory.
  6. Build a communications center (though not needed).
  7. Start building equal numbers of hum-vees and medium tanks.
  8. Move north and wipe out the Nod units in the trees.
  9. The north-western corner of the map has a Tiberium field - clear the area of the rocket troops first.
  10. Collect Tiberium to aid in building.
  11. Make about six tanks and hum-vees.
  12. Send them east along the northern edge of the map.
  13. Destroy both turrets on the upper and lower ridges.
  14. Destroy the SAM site west of the southern turret.
  15. Continue moving east into the Nod base.
  16. Eliminate any units in the area.
  17. Target the barracks.
  18. Move to the lower-right corner of the base and destroy the construction yard.
  19. Target the airfield and then everything else.
  20. Make sure you get the turret and a SAM site south of the Nod base to complete this mission.

GDI Mission 8

Setting - Austria (Left Route)

Objective:

"U.N. Sanction has cut funding to the Global Defense Initiative. Field Units are helpless. Use the repair facility to keep your units in the field long enough to destroy the Nod base in this region. All Nod units and structures must be destroyed."

  1. Repair all of your buildings (don't miss the two guard towers) and the harvester.
  2. Send the havester to the Tiberium field west.
  3. Repair the two medium tanks at the bay.
  4. Put infantry on the west side of your base to defend it.
  5. Repair the rest of your vehicles.
  6. Destroy the artillery unit in the Tiberium field to the north of your base (use medium tanks).

The easiest way to win this mission is by securing the north-eastern corner of the map so you can bombard the Nod base with your rocket launchers from the safety of the upper ridges.

  1. Build clusters of ten minigunners and ten rocket soldiers.
  2. Send them up the path on the right side of the map.
  3. Take an APC to the lower left corner of the map,
  4. Send it due north through the buildings and trees for a crate full of credits.
  5. Secure the second bridge from the flame troopers, infantry and light tanks.
  6. Send your three rocket launchers up there to join your infantry.
  7. Leave the infantry on the bridge to defend it.
  8. Move the rocket launchers west to the Nod base.
  9. Targets in order: the airfield, the pile of Nod infantry that gathers outside the barracks, and the barracks itself.
  10. Make sure you keep the rocket launchers as far back from the ridge as possible, or a vehicle might pick them off when you're not looking.
  11. Get rid of the Nod infantry.
  12. Send in rocket soldiers and minigunners to assault the southern entrance of the base.
  13. Take out the turrets.
  14. Continue all the way to the north-west corner to find the construction yard and destroy it and the other buildings around it.
  15. Move back to the main part of the base and destroy everything else.

There are three SAM sites on the map to destroy:

  1. Two of which are on the upper ridges where your rocket launchers are sitting.
  2. The third is above a Tiberium field south-west of the Nod base.
  3. Destroy all three of them and any Nod survivors.

Setting - Slovakia (Right Route)

Objective:

"Dr. Moebius is establishing a Hospital to treat the civilians in the region who are falling ill due to exposure to Tiberium. Protect Moebius and the civilians. Eliminate Nod presence in the area."

NB- *The civilians in the lower-left part of the map must survive - if too many of them get killed, the mission is a failure. Do not let this happen!*

  1. Move your MCV slightly south-east and deploy it.
  2. Build a power plant.
  3. Build a refinery.
  4. Move your two rocket launchers to the ridge east of their starting position.
  5. Send the three medium tanks above the civilian town to the south-west.
  6. An artillery unit and a light tank will be moving into the area shortly; use the tanks to protect the town.
  7. Build a weapons factory
  8. Build a second harvester.
  9. Seal the town off from the Tiberium field above it with sand bags (Block the northern Tiberium field, but not the eastern one - your harvesters will use this one).
  10. Park the two rocket launchers in the Tiberium field in the north-west corner of the Tiberium field, to take out any landing Chinooks.
  11. Park all of your original infantry units in the gap between the town and the bridge east of it, to handle the other Chinooks.
  12. Continue your sand bag chain (the one where you blocked off the northern Tiberium field) over the water until you can reach the trees between the two Tiberium fields.
  13. Build a trio of guard towers (make sure you have a barracks up first to make these).
  14. The guard towers here as well as some medium tanks will be able to handle the Nod troops that poor down this gap.
  15. Build a repair bay as well.
  16. Take out the Nod harvesters in the Tiberium fields.
  17. Load two APCs with five engineers each.
  18. Send an empty APC up to the base to scout the entrance.
  19. When you can see the pile of infantry forming outside of the barracks, send in a couple more empty APCs to to take out as many as possible.
  20. Send in both of your APCs with the engineers.
  21. Move them up the right side of the base.
  22. Drop the engineers off.
  23. Use the engineers to capture the construction yard.
  24. Capture anything else you can with the remaining engineers (namely the refinery and the barracks).
  25. Continue destroying harvesters in the Tiberium fields to wear Nod out of money.
  26. Build up a force of medium tanks to take out both bases.

GDI Mission 9

Setting - Hungary (Left Route)

Objective:

"Take out Nod turrets along shore so Gunboats can move in safely on the Nod base. The Nod base must be destroyed. If gunboats can get in, they should be able to destroy the base with no difficulty. Keep an eye out for the new weapon Nod is rumored to be working on."

  1. Deploy your MCV.
  2. Start building a power plant.
  3. Then build a refinery.
  4. Use your infantry to defend your base.
  5. Send out your your harvester to collect some credits.
  6. Then build a weapons factory.
  7. Scroll down the map and find the five infantry units you have on the lower island.

(Send them to the very bottom of the island, then send them all the way to the western edge to find a crate of money.)

  1. Return to the middle of the island.
  2. Turn north and destroy the two turrets there.
  3. Build six or so medium tanks.
  4. Prepare two APCs full of engineers.
  5. Use the tanks to clear a path to the north-west corner of the map.
  6. Turn south and clear the Nod forces off of the bridge leading to the Nod base.
  7. Use the tanks to take out the turrets guarding the entrance.
  8. Leave them there to defend against incoming Nod.
  9. Send the two engineer APCs there along the same route.
  10. Dump the engineers out and capture as many buildings as you can.
  11. Gun for the airfield and construction yard first.
  12. Then destroy as many power plants as you can.
  13. But don't forget the barracks as well!
  14. Then take out the rest of the units and structures.
  15. Destroy the two turrets near the river.

Setting - Hungary (Right Route)

Objective:

"Take out Nod turrets along shore so Gunboats can move in safely on the Nod base. The Nod base must be destroyed. If gunboats can get in, they should be able to destroy the base with no difficulty. Keep an eye out for the new weapon Nod is rumored to be working on."

Refer to the Hungary left route (It's identical).

GDI Mission 10

Setting - Slovenia (Left Route)

Objective:

"U.N. funding has been re-established. You now have access to a new aircraft, the Orca. This unit is to be used to scout the immediate area. Destroy all Nod presence in this region."

  1. Move your MCV and deploy it between the two Tiberium fields.
  2. Build a refinery.
  3. Next use your starting units to defend the construction yard.
  4. Build a power plant.
  5. Then a refinery near it.
  6. Build a weapons factory somewhere safe from the nearby turrets.
  7. Make a new harvester.
  8. Build a few more medium tanks.
  9. Use then to destroy the turrets around the map.

The Nod base is in the lower right corner guarded by an Obelisk so be careful!

  1. Park your tanks by the entrances to the Tiberium fields west of the Nod base.
  2. Load two APCs full of engineers.
  3. Send your tanks to the edge of the Nod base.
  4. Their units will come out to fight, where the tanks can kill them from range.
  5. Rush your APCs in. One will probably get decimated by the Obelisk - as soon as this happens
  6. Have the dumped out engineers go tag buildings before they are mowed down!
  7. Also use that one sacrificial lamb to let the other APC slip in and head to the right corner of the base.
  8. Empty the other APC in the corner.
  9. Capture the construction yard and some power plants.
  10. Move your tanks in and pick off everything.
  11. Take out the two SAM sites as well to complete the mission.

Setting - Romania (Right Route)

Objective:

"U.N. funding has been re-established. You now have access to a new aircraft, the Orca. This unit is to be used to scout the immediate area. Destroy all Nod presence in this region."

  1. Deploy your MCV out.
  2. The build a power plant, then right next to it
  3. a refinery close to the Tiberium field nearby.

Note that Nod forces will attack your base almost immediately, so be prepared.

  1. Once your in the clear from Nod forces, establish a weapons factory.
  2. Build a second harvester and send it to the Tiberium field east.
  3. Then build about six medium tanks,
  4. then send them around the western side of the map taking out the turrets you find.
  5. Eventually this will allow a straight access path from your base to the Tiberium field on the western edge of the map.

The Nod base is located in the north-eastern corner of the map. Two turrets and an Obelisk defend the base. Nearby is a Tiberium field to the left of it that funds their war effort. In order to prevent this:

  1. Park tanks in a vertical line on the edge of the field, just out of the turret's range.
  2. Leave them here to fend off the harvesters Nod will send out.
  3. Meanwhile load two APCs full of engineers.
  4. The Nod construction yard is in the lower-right corner of the Nod base.
  5. Move your APCs in as fast as you can, skating by the Obelisk.
  6. Make absolutely sure one reaches the corner of the base.
  7. Try to capture a few buildings with the engineers that pop out of a destroyed APC before they too are destroyed.
  8. Empty the surviving APC and capture the construction yard, barracks, and some power plants.
  9. You can use the barracks you converted (highlight it and double click to set it to your

primary barracks) to make more engineers and have them convert the few buildings left over.

  1. Have you tanks take out the Turrets to end the mission.

GDI Mission 11

Setting - Greece

Objective:

"Intelligence operative, code-name Delphi, has info on Kane and a new bio-research laboratory. After landing on the beach here in Corinth move north to make contact with him. Nod will attempt to stop you. You must reach Delphi!"

  1. As soon as your six grenadiers land,
  2. run them north-east past the turrets.
  3. Follow them with the MCV.
  4. Use the grenade guys to stop the light tank.
  5. Deploy and repair your construction yard.
  6. Then build a power plant,
  7. followed by a refinery.
  8. Use your grenadiers to clear the rocket guys from above and below the Tiberium field to the east.
  9. Build up a barracks
  10. and build three guard towers above and to the left of your refinery,
  11. then a weapons factory
  12. and an extra harvester.
  13. When the small Tiberium field east of your base is empty, send your

harvesters south over the bridge to find another large field.

  1. Build up some medium tanks
  2. then make a radar station
  3. Once you have ten or so tanks,
  4. load two APCs full of engineers.
  5. Send the tanks to the upper-left corner of the map
  6. and cut off the Nod harvesters from the Tiberium field up there.
  7. Move in closer to the base with the tanks until you can fire at the

turrets and the Obelisk.

  1. Move your APCs into the very back of the Nod base,
  2. then dump the engineers out.
  3. Capture everything you can in the back portion of the base,
  4. and try to force a tank back there.
  5. You need to blow a hole in the concrete leading east so you can reach the pickup point.

If you can't reach with a tank:

  1. Quickly build a barracks,
  2. set it to primary by double clicking on it,
  3. and build a rocket guy or two.
  4. Move them closer to Delphi to make a Chinook appear,
  5. then put Delphi in it.

GDI Mission 12

Setting - Albania (Left Route)

Objective:

"A GDI base is under siege in this region. Dr. Moebius is trapped in the base. Move in, grab Moebius, and then a transport helicopter will be sent to you. Get Moebius into the transport. Make sure that there are no SAM sites in the area or else the transports will be useless."

  1. Repair your structures and park your Mammoth.
  2. Build a medium tank,
  3. and a rocket launcher.
  4. Position them near the entrance of your base to fend off Nod attacks.
  5. Next build an APC
  6. and six engineers.
  7. Put three engineers into each of your APCs,
  8. then send them north over the bridge right outside your base.
  9. Move straight north through the clearing until you cross the little river crossing,
  10. then continue a little farther to the north until you're above the ridge to the left.
  11. Turn due west after that, and you'll wind up driving directly between the two turrets on the eastern side of the Nod base.
  12. Stay as far to the north as you can as you enter the base,
  13. then eject your engineers in front of the Nod construction yard.
  14. Capture as many buildings as you can including:
  15. the construction yard,
  16. the airfield,
  17. the ore refinery,
  18. the barracks,
  19. and a power plant (or two).
  20. Sell everything you capture before Nod has a chance to destroy any of it.
  21. Use the money you got from selling your captured buildings to
  22. build a few medium tanks.
  23. Then send them to the civilian town on the eastern side of the map (There's a money crate in the bottom of the town that you can use to build up your forces).

Destroy the SAM sites on the map:

  1. The ones near your base,
  2. two near the Nod base,
  3. and the one in the north-eastern corner.

A chinook will land near your base once all of the SAM sites are destroyed - put Moebius in the chinook.

Setting - Bulgaria (Right Route)

Objective:

"A GDI base is under siege in this region. Dr. Moebius is trapped in the base. Move in, grab Moebius, and then a transport helicopter will be sent to you. Get Moebius into the transport. Make sure that there are no SAM sites in the area or else the transports will be useless."

  1. Repair all of your buildings,
  2. then build an APC,
  3. and five engineers.

The Nod base is in the north-east corner of the map.

  1. Send your medium tank,
  2. and rocket launcher into the Tiberium field south-west of the Nod base.
  3. Destroy their harvester,
  4. then use the group to fend off the Nod counter-attack.
  5. Have your APC rush in behind them.
  6. Get the APC right below the Nod construction yard,
  7. then dump the engineers and capture it.
  8. Capture the power plants and the airfield below it too if you can,
  9. then sell it all before they destroy any of it.
  10. If you still have your vehicles in the Tiberium field south-west of their base, keep

using them to destroy any harvesters they send out.

  1. Otherwise, use the money you got from selling the stolen buildings to build a few more medium tanks.
  2. Next destroy the Nod base

Destroy the seven SAM sites:

  1. The four along the ridge north of your base,
  2. the one in the northern part of the map by a turret,
  3. and the two in the Nod base.

A chinook will land near your base once all of the SAM sites are destroyed - put Moebius in the chinook.

GDI Mission 13

Setting - Yugoslavia (Right Route)

Objective:

"Delphi's info decoded and Kane has been found. He is overseeing experiments at a Bio-research facility in this area. Destroy facility while we have him cornered. Build an Advanced Communications center to access the new Ion Cannon. It will greatly assist you in your objective."

  1. Move your MCV westward until between the upper and lower Tiberium fields.
  2. Deploy it and start building a power plant.
  3. Move your vehicles over to guard the construction yard,
  4. but leave the infantry on the east side.
  5. Place the power plant,
  6. then start building a refinery.
  7. Build and place an advanced power plant.
  8. Build and placed a war factory,
  9. then use it to build a second harvester.
  10. Build and place a communications center.
  11. Meanwhile defend against the Nod attacks on your base (and try to

take out the Nod harvester if it comes by).

  1. Make another advanced power plant,
  2. then build a pair of advanced guard towers to defend your base.
  3. Build and place an advanced communications center.
  4. Start cranking out rocket launchers from your war factory.
  5. When you have six of them (and your Ion Cannon is charged),
  6. build a humvee and use it to scout a path to the north along the east side of the map.

When you run into a ridge on the north side of the Tiberium field, head west along it. You'll see some concrete on the north side of the ridge and some more to the west on the lower part of the ridge, which is where the main Nod base is.

  1. Send the rocket launchers to that area.
  2. Have them blast a hole in the corner of the base's concrete walls.
  3. Push your rocket launchers into the base through this hole.
  4. You should also see the bio-research facility on the ridge.
  5. Use your Ion Cannon on it.
  6. Finish the job with a few shots from your rocket launchers.

Setting - Yugoslavia (Left Route)

Objective:

"Delphi's info decoded and Kane has been found. He is overseeing experiments at a Bio-research facility in this area. Destroy facility while we have him cornered. Build an Advanced Communications center to access the new Ion Cannon. It will greatly assist you in your objective."

Refer to the Yugoslavia right route (It's identical).

GDI Mission 14

Setting - Yugoslavia

Objective:

"We have learned the path of evacuating Nod forces. They are moving through this valley. Cut them off so that they can't rejoin the main force. Attack and destroy all the vehicles in the Nod convoy."

  1. Move your Mammoth tank north, then east when you get in the clearing.
  2. Destroy the three artillery units near the southern edge of the ridge.
  3. Head north-west with the Mammoth,
  4. then go to the ridge to the east to find another two artillery units on the other side of it. #Destroy them, then send the Mammoth back to the rest of your units.
  5. Form two teams: one should have all of your vehicles, and the other should have all of your infantry.
  6. Move both the groups east, then north up the main path.
  7. When you reach the large clearing in the middle of the map, leave your vehicles there for your main defense.
  8. Stick the infantry group east of there.
  9. When Nod vehicles start coming into the clearing, focus your attention on the flame tanks first, then on the light tanks.
  10. Stay in the center of the map until the second group of buggies attacks.
  11. Send your surviving units to the trees in the north-eastern corner of the map to find the straggling stealth tank to finish the map.

GDI Mission 15

There's three routes you can take with the last mission:

Eastern Route - Medium Difficulty Route.

Southern Route - Most Challenging Route.

Western Route - Easiest Route.

Setting - Bosnia/Herzogovina (Eastern Route)

Objective:

"The Temple of Nod has been located. We are sure Kane is there. Destroy him, the temple, and any other remnant of Nod that exists there. Nod has been rumored to have completed its own nuclear device so it's do or die time. Let's do it!"

  1. Deploy your MCV,
  2. then deal with the Nod infantry with your tank and APC.
  3. Drop your infantry out of the APC
  4. and capture the nearby power plant and communications center.
  5. Then build a refinery.
  6. place your forces west to defend against the incoming Nod forces.
  7. Also build guard towers,
  8. a war factory,
  9. and a second harvester.
  10. Use riflemen to destroy the turrets in the Tiberium fields south.
  11. Then work on having an advanced communications center out a.s.a.p.
  12. Build some Mammoths and a few rocket launchers
  13. and an APC (packed full of engineers).
  14. Use the Mammoths to knock out the turret directly west of your base.
  15. Go westward along the top of the map until the Obelisk takes a shot at you.
  16. Destroy it with the Ion Cannon before it can get a second shot,
  17. then continue moving westward.
  18. Destroy the two turrets at the northern entrance to the Nod base with Mammoth tanks.
  19. Next, take out the concrete around the entrance.
  20. Move the Mammoths into the base with the rocket launchers.
  21. Focus your rocket fire on the Nod infantry
  22. while your tanks handle the Nod vehicles and turrets.
  23. When it's a bit clear, slip in an APC and dump the engineers.
  24. Like ninjas capture the barracks and the airfield,
  25. then the refinery and the two other buildings.
  26. Build some more engineers to capture the rest of the base ( this base

has no construction yard - this is done to preventing them from building lost buildings from their 2 other construction yards).

This should cramp their power supply which will gimp the lethal power of the Obelisks on the path through the remaining Nod base.

  1. If opportune, try to destroy the power plant on the hill in the middle of the map without destroying the Obelisk next to it,
  2. Also if you capture the construction yard and power plant south of the

Tiberium field south of your base, you will gimp them even further.

  1. You can easily rock the southern base by leveling their infantry with an Ion Cannon blast,
  2. then send in the APCs full of engineers to take over their buildings.
  3. Either way the mission and the GDI campaign will be over once every Nod unit and structure on the map (including the southern turrets) is destroyed.

Setting - Bosnia/Herzogovina (Southern Route)

  1. Start by moving your MCV to the west.
  2. Leave behind the heavy tank to fire and destroy the incoming flame tank.
  3. Make sure you keep the MCV moving up and then to the right to avoid the flame tank's attacks.
  4. Use the heavy tank to crush the two rocket soldiers by the bridge.
  5. Move the MCV over the bridge and deploy it just barely above and to the left of it.
  6. Build a power plant and place it to the left of the construction yard,
  7. then build a refinery and place it as close to the Tiberium field as you can.
  8. Then build barracks,
  9. and some guard towers.
  10. Place a pair of guard towers on the right side of your barracks
  11. and another pair above and to the left of your refinery.
  12. Keep your tank out of the action until the two enemy light tanks arrive -
  13. but let them start firing at the towers before you move your tank in.
  14. Destroy the incoming flame tank with your tank and guard towers.
  15. Then send some infantry to the hill north.
  16. Destroy the turret and SAM site there.
  17. Then march your infantry to take out the two turrets and the SAM site east of your base.
  18. After, build an advanced communications center.
  19. Deal with the Nod forces with a few Mammoth tanks
  20. and some rocket launchers parked behind them to take out the infantry.
  21. Use the first Ion Cannon blast to destroy the Obelisk by the southern field,
  22. then move your Mammoths and rocket launchers down there to deal with any infantry Nod happens to have.
  23. Have an APC with two engineers in it.
  24. Clear out any threats left near the power plant and barracks,
  25. then use the engineers to capture them.
  26. Park the APC in the spot where the Obelisk used to be to prevent Nod from building another one there.
  27. Protect your harvesters from Nod attacks.
  28. Line up your Mammoth tanks in the gap between the Nod base and the southern Tiberium field,
  29. then line your rocket launchers up behind them so they can deal with any infantry.
  30. Build up your forces using the southern Tiberium field.
  31. Send an APC closer and closer to the Nod base to trigger the Obelisk guarding it.
  32. Then destroy it with an Ion Cannon blast.
  1. Move your tanks and rocket launchers to the entrance of the base and clear it out,
  2. then move into the base and destroy everything there.
  3. You'll want to line your tanks up in a horizontal line along the top part of the base (along with destroying the concrete),
  4. and line the rocket launchers up behind them.
  5. Then capture the barracks and the airfield.
  6. There's another Tiberium field south-east that can be used for funds.

There is a Temple of Nod on the map, so expect a nuke hit. The advanced communications center tends to be their favorite target, so try to keep things away from it.

  1. Rebuild it if it does get destroyed.
  2. There's another Nod base with an entrance to the north-west of your tanks.
  3. Take care of the nearby turrets with your tanks,
  4. then slowly approach the Nod base from along the ridge.
  5. Use an APC to get close enough for the southern Obelisk to reveal it's location.
  6. Then use your Ion Cannon on it.
  7. Use your Mammoths to take out the concrete below the power plants,
  8. then move an APC into the base full of engineers.
  9. Capture the airfield, the construction yard, refineries, and whatever else -
  10. then sell it all.
  11. Eliminate the remaining Nod buildings, starting with the Temple of Nod in the north-west.
  12. The group of silos near the top of the map in the middle are the next targets.
  13. Then go for the second construction yard and other buildings along the top of the map to end this mission and the GDI campaign.

Setting - Bosnia/Herzogovina (Western Route)

  1. Leave the MCV where it starts,
  2. then park the tank on the bridge to the south-east to prevent the flame tank from crossing.
  3. Destroy the flame tank.
  4. Move your tank over the bridge and take out the two Nod infantry units.
  5. Move the MCV over there and deploy it to the east of the bridge.
  6. Build a power plant and a barracks,
  7. then place a refinery.
  8. Put up guard towers on both sides of your base.
  9. Build a base defense: a war factory, repair bay, and a Mammoth tank.
  10. Make a second harvester,
  11. then build an advanced communications center away from other important buildings.
  12. Building Mammoths and some rocket launchers last.
  13. Use a batch of Mammoths to stop the Nod harvesters from harvesting the large Tiberium field to the east of your base.
  14. Deal with the Nod patrols as well.
  15. Take out the small Nod base in the middle of the map by capturing it (Nod will just rebuild it if you just destroy them).
  16. Defend the newly captured buildings with your tanks and rocket launchers.
  17. Send some engineers to the far south-west corner of the map to capture the Nod power plant and construction yard there.
  18. Destroy the turrets there first to make a safe path.
  19. Don't sell the structures (turn them instead).

Note: if you have to destroy a building, part a unit on top of where it was to prevent Nod from rebuilding the lost structure.

The remaining Nod base can be entered from the west.

  1. Take out their Obelisks and turrets with your Ion Cannon.
  2. Take out the construction yard, power plants and the rest of Nod's base.

This mission and the GDI campaign will be over as soon as all Nod units and structures have been destroyed.

Nod Mission 1

Objective:

"In order for the Brotherhood to gain a foothold, we must begin by eliminating certain elements. Nikoomba, the nearby village's leader, is one such element. His views and ours do not coincide, and he must be eliminated."

  1. Wait for all of your units to arrive,
  2. then form a group out of them.
  3. Head for the upper-left corner of the map.
  4. Kill the guy that's standing up there to end the mission.

Nod Mission 2

Setting - Egypt (Upper Route)

Objective:

"GDI has kept a stranglehold on Egypt for many years. Set up a forward attack base in your area. To do this you must double click on your Mobile Construction Vehicle. (MCV) From here you can begin to build a base. This area contains plenty of Tiberium, so establishing the base should be easy."

  1. Deploy your MCV,
  2. then build a power plant, refinery, and barracks.
  3. Move your units north along the eastern side of the Tiberium field,
  4. then move west along the top of the map.

The GDI base is in the north-western corner.

  1. Fight your way through the defenses,
  2. then destroy the construction yard, refinery, and the rest of the base.
  3. Kill off any units that survive your attack.

Setting - Egypt (Lower Route)

Objective:

"GDI has kept a stranglehold on Egypt for many years. Set up a forward attack base in your area. To do this you must double click on your Mobile Construction Vehicle. (MCV) From here you can begin to build a base. This area contains plenty of Tiberium, so establishing the base should be easy."

  1. Deploy your construction yard
  2. and build a power plant, a refinery and barracks.
  3. Train a few more riflemen and a few engineers,
  4. then send your group west towards the north-western corner of the map.
  5. Clear the GDI troops on the way.
  6. Use the engineers to capture the GDI construction yard,
  7. refinery, power plant, and any other buildings.
  8. Destroy the rest of their base,
  9. then hunt down any GDI units left on the map (including the harvester).

Nod Mission 3

Setting - Sudan (Left Route)

Objective:

"GDI has established a prison camp, where they are detaining some of the local political leaders. Kane wishes to liberate these victims. Destroy the GDI forces and capture the prison, do not destroy it."

  1. Deploy your MCV.
  2. Build a power plant, refinery, barracks, and communications center.
  3. Defend your base with your forces.
  4. Then train more riflemen (15 or so).
  5. After send all of your forces south out of your base.
  6. Go north between the bridge and the water crossing -
  7. avoid the Tiberium field with your infantry.

The GDI base is to the north-west.

  1. Destroy the GDI defenders at the base.
  2. Then knock down the guard tower,
  3. then the barracks and other buildings.
  4. Send the three engineers you started with up there,
  5. and use one of them to capture the prison.

Setting - Sudan (Right Route)

Objective:

"GDI has established a prison camp, where they are detaining some of the local political leaders. Kane wishes to liberate these victims. Destroy the GDI forces and capture the prison, do not destroy it."

  1. Use your forces to fend the GDI attacks on your base,
  2. while you deploy your MCV.
  3. Build a power plant, refinery, barracks, and a communications center.
  4. Then make a bunch of riflemen.

The GDI base is in the north-west corner of the map.

  1. So, move your force diagonally towards it.
  2. Destroy the guard tower in the small gap in the cliffs.
  3. Elimiate any GDI forces in the area.
  4. Bring some engineers up there to capture their buildings if necessary,
  5. Remember to capture the prison, not destroy it.

Nod Mission 4

Setting - Chad (Upper Route)

Objective:

"GDI is attempting to relocate a village of sympathetic civilians. Intercept the convoy and destroy it. It is imperative that the villagers be totally destroyed, as a lesson to any other natives who may oppose us."

  1. Group all of your units into one group.
  2. Follow the path to the south.

You'll eventually run into a Group of GDI grenadiers and a humvee:

  1. Take out the grenadiers,
  2. and leave the humvee for last.
  3. Move south until you reach the southern edge of the map,
  4. then turn west and follow the path to the bridge.

You'll meet up with GDI infantry and vehicles here, including an APC full of civilians.

  1. Destroy all the GDI units
  2. and kill the civilians before they can escape.
  3. Cross the bridge and level the town.
  4. After all civilians and buildings have been destroyed, the mission will be complete

Setting - Chad (Lower Route)

Objective:

"A small village friendly to our cause has been increasingly harassed by GDI, and the Brotherhood wishes you to assist them in their efforts. Seek out the enemy village and destroy it. The event will be disguised as a GDI attack."

  1. Gather all troops and head west,
  2. taking a turn to the south.
  3. Some GDI units medium tank pat around here - take them out, units first, tank last.

The town you're trying to protect is a little south-east of the crossing in the middle of the map.

  1. Eliminate any GDI in there.

The town you're trying to destroy is located west of here.

  1. Send your forces through the gaps around the Tiberium field
  2. and assault the GDI forces around the town.
  3. Then destroy the buildings and civilians in the town.
  4. Hunt down any surviving civilians and kill then to end the mission.

Nod Mission 5

Setting - Mauritania

Objective:

"Our brothers within GDI tell of us of A-10 strike jets scheduled to be deployed here soon. Our suppliers have delivered new Surface to Air Missiles to aid you. Use the SAMs to defend your base, then seek out their base and destroy it."

  1. Move your forces north to intercept GDI units,
  2. then move the MCV slightly north-west and deploy it.
  3. Use the Tiberium field west of your starting location to fund building up your base.
  4. Protect your north-western side (against bombers) with some SAM sites.
  5. Build an airstrip,
  6. then make light tanks to add to your troops.
  7. The GDI base is in the middle of the map along the top - Use a group of ten tanks and your starting forces to destroy it.

Nod Mission 6

Each mission in this chapter requires speed - no leisurely build breaks, just a race to the flare!

Setting - Ivory Coast (Left Route)

Objective:

"GDI has imported a Nuclear Detonator in an attempt to sway a few local political leaders. Penetrate the base and steal the detonator. A chopper will be sent to meet you at a designated landing zone. Look for the landing flare once you have stolen the device."

  1. Gather your left cluster of troops and head south.
  2. Then go east down the first narrow path you see.
  3. Keep going down it all the way to the entrance of the GDI base without stopping or you'll take too much damage.
  4. Rush into the GDI base,
  5. and blow a hole in the fencing around the crate.
  6. Touch the crate.
  7. The signal flare will appear directly south of your location,
  8. so immediately send any units out the south-eastern exit of the GDI base.
  9. Follow the edge of the map all the way to the south,
  10. then go around to the west until you can get onto the ledge where the flare is.

Setting - Benin (Center Route)

Objective:

"GDI has imported a Nuclear Detonator in an attempt to sway a few local political leaders. Penetrate the base and steal the detonator. A chopper will be sent to meet you at a designated landing zone. Look for the landing flare once you have stolen the device."

  1. Group your forces and wait for some GDI units to attack you from the south.
  2. After that, head south and take the first turn to the east.
  3. There's a medium tank behind a tree there, so be careful in handling it.
  4. Move east, then turn north when you can.
  5. Move west past the first bridge.
  6. Then head north to find a second bridge.
  7. Cross it, then enter the GDI base with all of your surviving units.
  8. Move quickly, pushing light tanks into the fenced area with the crate.
  9. Touch the crate, then exit the GDI base through the gap to the south-east.
  10. Move south along the eastern edge of the map to find the signal flare.

Setting - Nigeria (Right Route)

Objective:

"GDI has imported a Nuclear Detonator in an attempt to sway a few local political leaders. Penetrate the base and steal the detonator. A chopper will be sent to meet you at a designated landing zone. Look for the landing flare once you have stolen the device."

  1. Send all of your forces south,
  2. then turn to the west and head north.
  3. Take out the medium tank blocking the bridge.
  4. Cross it with all of your forces and head west to find the GDI base.
  5. Rush inside until you see a crate in a small fenced area.
  6. Run over and touch the crate,
  7. then send any units due south out of the base's second opening.
  8. Head to the flare in the bottom-left corner of the map.

Nod Mission 7

Setting - Gabon (Left Route)

Objective:

"The Brotherhood has located a huge field of Tiberium in the area. The nearby village has laid claim to the field. Eliminate the villagers, as to prevent any infection of our own workers. GDI forces are reported to be minimal, so elimination of them is of secondary importance."

  1. Move your forces south, then west through the narrow path.
  2. You'll find some civilian buildings and GDI forces.
  3. Take out the church - there's a money crate in it.
  4. retreat your surviving units over the bridge on the north-western side of the town.
  5. Head eastward after that, and you'll be given control of a small base.
  6. Repair your buildings,
  7. then build an airstrip.
  8. Build a second harvester,
  9. then start making light tanks.

GDI infantry and some tanks will attack, but your light tanks can handle them.

Beware that GDI will continuously carpet bomb your refinery and/or airstrip.

  1. Gather together ten or so light tanks,
  2. and head back to the guard towers south of the village and engage the GDI base.
  3. Wipe out the vehicles and infantry,
  4. then take out the guard towers.
  5. Go into the base to get rid of the construction yard and the barracks.
  6. After everything is destroyed the mission will end.

Setting - Cameroon (Center Route)

Objective:

"The Brotherhood has located a huge field of Tiberium in the area. The nearby village has laid claim to the field. Eliminate the villagers, as to prevent any infection of our own workers. GDI forces are reported to be minimal, so elimination of them is of secondary importance."

  1. Move your units south away from your MCV,
  2. then deploy it and start building your base.
  3. Defend against the GDI attacks until you have an airstrip,
  4. then build a second harvester
  5. and start making light tanks.
  6. Once you've got a dozen tanks, head south (continue making more tanks meanwhile).
  7. Take a turn to the east and find the GDI base
  8. Destroy the guard towers guarding its entrance
  9. and take out as many GDI units as you can.
  10. Send in another group of tanks,
  11. then go for the base itself.
  12. Abuse the force-move command to take out their infantry,
  13. then target the barracks, construction yard, and war factory.
  14. Level the rest of the base,
  15. then head north over the bridge to destroy left over buildings.
  16. Slaughter the civilians in the town, to end the mission.

Setting - Central African Republic (Right Route)

Objective:

"GDI has left themselves open to the deadliest weapon of all, information. Our spies tell us the GDI base in your area contains an advanced attack helicopter, the Orca. Steal this weapon, then fly to the nearby village and destroy it. The attack will be blamed on GDI."

  1. Send your eastern cluster of forces south,
  2. but leave the engineers behind.
  3. Take out the GDI forces in the valley,
  4. then destroy the guard tower at the northern entrance of their base.
  5. Take out the GDI infantry with your tank.
  6. Move your units into the base and clear out the GDI presence near the chopper pad. #Send the engineers down to the base and capture the chopper pad.
  7. A flare will reveal the civilian town you're supposed to be destroying to the north.
  8. Fly the Orca up there and take care of the rocket soldier first,
  9. Use the Orca to make trips destroying the civilian buildings.

Nod Mission 8

Setting - Zaire (Left Route)

Objective:

"Since we are low on troops, you will have to make use of all available resources. Locate the abandoned GDI base in the area and restore it to operational status. Once that is done, use GDI's own weapons against them. Be sure that no GDI forces remain alive."

  1. Start by forming a separate group of Riflemen
  2. and a separate group of rocket soldiers.
  3. Send the riflemen slowly eastward until you've killed three GDI soldiers.
  4. Inch your rocket soldier cluster eastward to find a medium tank.
  5. Destroy the medium tank quickly,
  6. then send both of your groups eastward and take out the two grenadiers near the tree.
  7. As you approach the damaged Nod buildings farther to the east, a chopper will fly in.
  8. Sell your construction yard for cash,
  9. then load your five healthiest riflemen into the chopper.
  10. Train two engineers at the barracks.
  11. Fly the chopper south to the GDI base
  12. and land it just barely south of the refinery.
  13. Quickly drop your troops,
  14. then immediately send it back to your damaged Nod buildings.
  15. Use the riflemen to take out the GDI soldiers in the middle of the base,
  16. then put any other infantry you still have in your chopper and fly them down there.
  17. Once all of your units are there, fly the two engineers down there and capture the GDI construction yard and refinery.
  18. Keep your remaining Nod buildings, they'll absorb carpet bombing attacks later.
  19. Now start taking over the southern part of the map.
  20. Build a guard tower to protect your refinery,
  21. then use your infantry to clear the way to the south.
  22. There's a Tiberium field down there; get rid of the GDI units in the area first.
  23. Once you have enough money, build a war factory,
  24. some medium tanks,
  25. a second harvester,
  26. and some medium tanks.
  27. Take them west across the northern part of the island,
  28. then turn south and assault the GDI base with some rocket soldiers.
  29. Destroy everything to complete the mission.

Setting - Zaire (Right Route)

Objective:

  1. Start by sending your rocket soldiers west to the stream.
  2. They can fire across it and take out two GDI soldiers from range.
  3. Next, send your riflemen east and take out the first GDI soldier you see,
  4. then head north and slightly east until you run into more troops.
  5. Stay scattered and take out the grenade guys as fast as possible.
  6. Move your rocket guys in as soon as you see the medium tank,
  7. and move the riflemen farther south to take care of the last GDI soldier below the tank.
  8. Continue east to the abandoned Nod base.
  9. Sell the construction yard to get some cash.
  10. Train two engineers from the barracks.
  11. Load the chopper full of riflemen, then fly it to the east, where you'll see a GDI base.
  12. Land it south-east of the refinery, then dump your infantry out of it.
  13. Take the chopper back and load up any more infantry you have, including the engineers, and dump them all safely by the GDI base.
  14. Have an engineer capture the GDI construction yard and the refinery.
  15. Send infantry to take out the GDI troops near your base.
  16. Build a guard tower above the refinery.
  17. Capture (or destroy) the GDI power plant.
  18. If you don't have any infantry, build a barracks, then produce some units.
  19. You'll need then as GDI vehicles will eventually come to attack your base.
  20. The infantry will destroy the incoming vehicles while they're distracted by your guard tower.
  21. Build a war factory,
  22. another harvester,
  23. and some medium tanks.
  24. With the medium tanks (6 or so) head north-east to find the GDI base.
  25. Bring a few rocket soldiers with you to deal with Orcas.
  26. Once the entire base and all GDI units are destroyed, the mission will be complete.

Nod Mission 9

Setting - Egypt (Left Route)

Objective:

"GDI is attempting to retake Egypt. Use every available resource in your efforts to stop them. The populace has once again swayed in support of GDI forces, so show no mercy in dealing with the villagers."

  1. Begin by sniping the three troops south of your starting position,
  2. then head south and to the west.
  3. When three more troops attack your position, pick them all off.
  4. Head farther west along the water
  5. until another grenade guy attacks you from behind a tree - take him out.
  6. Move north until another two grenade guys come at you.
  7. Take the middle path to the west until you're forced to turn north,
  8. then pick off the troops on the bridge.
  9. Make the rocket soldiers that come down to join your commando into a separate team.
  10. Head back to the water near your starting position.
  11. Send the commando south-west to find some more GDI troops,
  12. but keep your eyes peeled for a harvester that is in the area.
  13. Wait for the harvester to pass,
  14. then move your troops west along the top of the small base in the area.
  15. Use the rocket troops to deal with the tank there,
  16. then send all of your forces north along the west side of the map.
  17. Have one unit survive the pat of infantry and a jeep to get to a nearby church.
  18. Blow it up to get a money crate.
  19. Use the money to build a power plant and barracks,
  20. then get some engineers to capture the GDI refinery and power plant.
  21. Get an airstrip and a light tank or two out to defend - GDI tanks and infantry will start attacking you in small groups from the north and north-east.
  22. Build a second harvester to speed resources up a little.
  23. The GDI base is in the north-eastern corner of the map in the west.
  24. Create a large pile of tanks before you make your first assault on it as it is well guarded.
  25. Take out the concrete between the northern guard tower and advanced guard tower to make a hole,
  26. then force your way past the defenses without bothering to stop and destroy them.
  27. Make your way inside the base and target the barracks, war factory, and construction yard.
  28. Destroy every GDI unit and structure to finish the mission.

Setting - Egypt (Lower Route)

Objective:

"GDI is attempting to retake Egypt. Use every available resource in your efforts to stop them. The populace has once again swayed in support of GDI forces, so show no mercy in dealing with the villagers."

Refer to the Egypt left route (It's identical).

Nod Mission 10

Setting - Angola (Left Route)

Objective:

"GDI is developing an orbital weapon. Our spies have told us of a large lake near the location of the R&D center. Find the base, and use the sniper to eliminate their scientist."

  1. GDI units and vehicles will be on you hard,
  2. Keep your group together and fight them off as they arrive.
  3. Use the commando to pick off some of the infantry,
  4. When clear, send your entire group north.
  5. Snipe your way through the scattered infantry and use your vehicles to deal with the tank, #then continue heading north until you can head east along the top of the map.
  6. Force your way through the GDI forces along the top of the map until you can turn south (the path before the eastern edge of the map).
  7. Slaughter a few more GDI units here,
  8. then head south past the side of the GDI base.
  9. The scientist should be hanging out on a section of land down here, and you should be able to pick him off at range - ending the mission.

Setting - Tanzania (Right Route)

Objective:

"GDI is developing a new, heavily armored tank. Our spies have located the GDI R&D base. Use your small strike force to locate and penetrate the center. Be sure to destroy the tanks in the base and the factory."

  1. Take your commando and artillery north,
  2. then pick off the two grenadiers above your starting position.
  3. Move slowly east until you find the cluster of grenadiers there.
  4. Once your commando has their attention,
  5. use your artillery to pick them off.
  6. Retreat to the west immediately after dealing with them.
  7. Two tanks will move to that spot from the south, freeing up the path down there.
  8. Take all of your units east along the southern path until you hit the edge of the map, then turn north.
  9. Approach the bridge carefully with your commando, artillery, and rocket troops:
  10. let your artillery and rocket troops fire at the jeep
  11. while you use your commando to pick off the infantry.
  12. Move over the bridge and head west until you find another bridge.
  13. Have your commando and artillery to take out the infantry on the crossing to the west
  14. Send all of your units to the empty area to the west to avoid the mammoth tank from the south.
  15. After it's out of range, run your commando and artillery over the bridge,
  16. and take out the cluster of infantry to the south.
  17. Send the rest of your forces over the bridge,
  18. then run south-west until you're over another crossing, where you'll be safe from the mammoth tank's patrol path.
  19. The GDI base is to the east, keep your infantry and commando in front of your artillery.
  20. Enter the GDI base and destroy the dormant mammoth tanks in the fenced area,
  21. then destroy the war factory.
  22. Go back and take out the patroling mammoth tank to complete the mission.

Nod Mission 11

Setting - Namibia (Left Route)

Objective:

"GDI has captured one of our technology centers. You must recapture the base and recover the stolen information. Our forces in the area don't have time to find a way across the river, so you will have to control the two forces separately."

  1. A medium tank will approach your units, but the units will take it out on their own. #Afterward, head north and find the water there,
  2. then retreat until you see a patrol boat.
  3. As it starts to head back to the left,
  4. send your entire group west underneath the water.
  5. Wipe out the grenadiers you find there.
  6. Don't stay around too long, or the boat will come back and decimate you so head south.
  7. Head west over a bridge,
  8. Engage the Mammoth Tank that is in the way.
  9. Move at least one artillery unit west after the Mammoth Tank is out of the way,
  10. keep the unit as far to the south as possible to avoid the gunship.
  11. Destroy the church in the town to find a money crate.
  12. Move north to the water as soon as you know the gunboat is moving away.
  13. Destroy the two guard towers on the other side of the water with artillery units.
  14. Retreat your artillery south away from the water.
  15. Look to your group of units in the upper-left corner of the map.
  16. Move the riflemen closer to the rocket soldiers.
  17. Use the Commando to snipe the two grenadiers on the bridge.
  18. Have your infantry destroy the Humvee.
  19. Move all of your units south-east over the bridge and continue down diagonally down the map until you see a bend that heads directly south.
  20. Wait until you know the gunboat is moving away,
  21. then rush all of your units down around the road.
  22. Have them turn left when you hit the water to find the entrance to the base.
  23. You'll find a construction yard under your control.
  24. Capture the power plant with one of your engineers
  25. and start building a barracks.
  26. Wait until a harvester is in the refinery before capturing it.
  27. Prepare for some GDI assaults by placing a turret or two near the base's entrance,
  28. and keep the Commando around for enemy infantry.
  29. Try to keep track of your harvester for the first few trips so you can avoid the gunboat and GDI patrols as money is scarce on this map.
  30. Build an Obelisk near the water (once you have enough money), to take out the boat and other GDI pests.
  31. Build a fleet of light tanks to attack the north-east GDI base.
  32. Remember to capture the tech center in your base.
  33. Once the last GDI unit falls the mission is complete.

Setting - Mozambique (Right Route)

Objective:

"GDI has captured one of our technology centers. You must recapture the base and recover the stolen information. Our forces in the area don't have time to find a way across the river, so you will have to control the two forces separately."

  1. Scroll to the lower-right corner of the map to find your second group of units.
  2. Take an artillery vehicle north to find the water,
  3. then send it back south immediately to avoid the gunboat.
  4. When you see the gunboat heading west again, move your entire pile of units west along the water, taking out any GDI you encounter.
  5. Avoid the medium tank by taking the upper route.
  6. Fight off the Mammoth Tank that's guarding the land bridge.
  7. Head west into the village,
  8. then destroy the church to find a money crate.
  9. Wait until you see the gunboat heading east,
  10. then move north towards the water.
  11. Two guard towers are near the entrance to a base on the other side of the water.
  12. Use artillery to destroy them.
  13. Retreat out of the gunboat's range.
  14. Move back to the other group of units in the upper-left corner of the map.
  15. Take then east, then turn due south when you see some concrete.
  16. Make a dash into the GDI base down there (when the gunboat is on the other side of the map).
  17. Find the Nod buildings,
  18. then build a barracks and some turrets (GDI will attack in rather quick order, so be prepared!).
  19. Wait till a harvester in the refinery,
  20. then capture it with an engineer.
  21. When you can afford it, place an Obelisk at the entrance of your base to deal with the gunboat (and other GDI units).
  22. Continue collecting Tiberium until you have enough money for an airfield,
  23. and repair your buildings if any of them get carpet bombed.
  24. Build a batch of Flame tanks and light tanks.
  25. Assault the GDI base - focus on attacking from the lower-left,
  26. punch a hole in their concrete,
  27. and make a dash for their construction yard and power plants.
  28. Capture the tech center in your base.
  29. Wipe out the last of the GDI forces to complete the mission.

Nod Mission 12

Setting - Botswania (Left Route)

Objective:

"Somewhere in this area there is a GDI Advanced Communications Center. Inside this center are the firing codes for their orbiting Ion station. The Brotherhood must have these codes. Capture the Center and retrieve the codes, do not destroy the center."

  1. Send one of your buggies west until you find two Mammoth Tanks,
  2. fire at one of them,
  3. and then run north to make them follow you.
  4. Lead them around in a circle down there
  5. while the rest of your forces (including a MCV), sneak out of the area using the path that the Mammoths were guarding.
  6. When you reach the clearing on the other side,
  7. head north past the Tiberium field and deploy your MCV a little north-east of the Tiberium field.
  8. Keep trying to lead the Mammoth Tanks around in circles at the other end of the map.
  9. Start building your base with
  10. a refinery
  11. and a communications center.
  12. Then get an Obelisk and place it north-east of your construction yard for defense.
  13. Lead the Mammoths up to your base and let the Obelisk destroy them.
  14. Place an airfield,
  15. and build second harvester.
  16. Start building light tanks and flame tanks.
  17. Send them on scout missions north and east of your base to find GDI patrols,
  18. then retreat to your base so the Obelisk can help you wipe them out.
  19. Repair damaged units with a repair bay.
  20. Assault the GDI base in the north-east corner of the map by approaching it from the west along the top of the map.
  21. Flame tanks will help you slaughter GDI's infantry,
  22. and will definitely take out the guard towers.
  23. Use the tanks to punch a bigger hole in the concrete near the construction yard.
  24. Then focus on taking the construction yard out and any other major buildings.
  25. Capture the Advanced Communications Center with an engineer to finish the mission.

Setting - Botswania (Right Route)

Objective:

"Somewhere in this area there is a GDI Advanced Communications Center. Inside this center are the firing codes for their orbiting Ion station. The Brotherhood must have these codes. Capture the Center and retrieve the codes, do not destroy the center."

Refer to the Botswania left route (It's identical).

Nod Mission 13

Setting - South Africa (Left Route)

Objective:

"Establish your base, then build and defend the Temple of Nod. All GDI forces are to destroyed. Kane has ordered you to defend the Temple at all costs, even your own life. Do not allow GDI forces to overrun you."

  1. Deploy your MCV,
  2. build a power plant,
  3. and place it south-east.
  4. Build a refinery and place it south-east,
  5. then start harvesting the nearby Tiberium field (stay away from the south east and water or GDI mobs will attack wrecking havoc).
  6. Next, build a communications center and an airfield,
  7. then make four flame tanks.
  8. Take out the GDI harvester,
  9. then defend against any incoming GDI troops.
  10. After surviving, head east through the middle of the area to attack the GDI base.
  11. Destroy all four guard towers and any enemy units,
  12. but spare the refinery, the silos, and the power plants.
  13. Build a barracks and capture all the spared buildings with engineers.
  14. You can sell the captured buildings to fund your campaign instead.
  15. Build four more engineers,
  16. then head north-east oand use two of them to capture the two abandoned choppers found.
  17. Place the other two in one of the choppers.
  18. Load the empty one full of riflemen.
  19. Next start building an Obelisk.
  20. Take both choppers to the spot marked with a flare and unload all of the units out of them.
  21. You can sell the airfield for extra cash at this point.
  22. Return the empty choppers to a safe empty spot near your base.
  23. Leave the riflemen here to defend - a GDI chopper will try to land here later.
  24. Send the two engineers to the east to capture the power plant and hospital.
  25. Place the Obelisk as far to the east as you can, in range of the gunboat in the water to the south.
  26. Have a refinery and a new airfield built as soon as possible here.
  27. Next is to capture the nearby GDI base -
  28. building an artillery unit to destroy as much concrete as you can along with GDI infantry from range.
  29. Have it pick on their barracks - they will waste time rebuilding it, keeping them occupied.
  30. The main goal is to capture as much of the base as possible - a full scale assault will only have GDI rebuilding everything over time, drawing out your resources.
  31. Raze everything with your flame tanks,
  32. then quickly land a chopper of engineers.
  33. Start capturing en mass: a few power plants, the war factory, and the construction yard.
  34. Place an Obelisk as far east as you can from one of your captured buildings to attack anything getting rebuilt.
  35. Build a Temple of Nod and use its nuke to demolish the southern entrance of the last GDI base.
  36. Afterward, take your flame tanks in to finish the job.

This mission and the Nod campaign will be over as soon as all GDI units and structures have been destroyed.

Setting - South Africa (Center Route)

Objective:

"Establish your base, then build and defend the Temple of Nod. All GDI forces are to destroyed. Kane has ordered you to defend the Temple at all costs, even your own life. Do not allow GDI forces to overrun you."

  1. Move your MCV one square up, then deploy it.
  2. Start building a power plant.
  3. Have your light tank and infantry to destroy the medium tank from the west.
  4. Place the power plant east of your construction yard,
  5. Build a barracks to the south.
  6. Keep your infantry north away from the gunboat.
  7. Build a turret,
  8. place it next to the water to deal with the gunboat.
  9. Build a refinery to the west.
  10. Have your light tank and infantry at the ready for any incoming GDI chopper attacks from the east and west.
  11. Also take out the two rocket soldiers guarding the giant Tiberium field to the west,
  12. and the civilian buildings nearby as well.
  13. A second MCV will arrive south of your base.
  14. Move it slightly down,
  15. deploy it and get an Obelisk south-west of it to guard it.
  16. Build a refinery above your construction yard,
  17. then an airfield east of it.
  18. Then build a Temple of Nod at your northern base.
  19. There's a GDI base in the south-east corner.
  20. To prepare, make a few flame tanks.
  21. Scout the map with a stealth tank, and find the chopper pads near the construction yard.
  22. Nuke the area far enough west of the construction yard so it doesn't destroy it, but does destroy the choppers and everything else.
  23. The move in the flame tanks in from the top-right to mop up anything left.
  24. Capture the construction yard with an engineer.
  25. Build Mammoth tanks.
  26. Scout the other GDI bases,
  27. then send them a welcome party squad of Mammoths.

This mission and the Nod campaign will be over as soon as all GDI units and structures have been destroyed.

Setting - South Africa (Right Route)

Objective:

"Establish your base, then build and defend the Temple of Nod. All GDI forces are to destroyed. Kane has ordered you to defend the Temple at all costs, even your own life. Do not allow GDI forces to overrun you."

  1. Capturing the GDI chopper that appears west of your base will put your mission to a great start.
  2. Use your starting units to fend off the GDI units that attack off the bat.
  3. Meanwhile, run your engineer to safety.
  4. There's a chopper nearby guarded by two rocket soldiers; kill them off first.
  5. Send the engineer to capture the chopper.
  6. Build communications center as far to the east as possible, and isolated - GDI will carpet bomb it like no tomorrow.
  7. Use the commando that arrives for you to destroy the church nearby to get a crate full of money.
  8. Fly the chopper down there and evacuate him,
  9. then have it dump infantry on the ground south of where the church was.
  10. Defend against any GDI units until a second MCV arrives.
  11. Move the MCV to the edge of the screen, right underneath the Tiberium by the water, and deploy it.
  12. Build a second refinery under it.
  13. This area of the map now only has the threat of carpet bombers - just repair after each hit.
  14. Build Obelisks within range of the buildings directly east of your second base.
  15. Park stealth tanks in the spots to prevent them from rebuilding.
  16. Try to get a Temple of Nod up and running.
  17. Move a Stealth Tank into the southern GDI base to find the chopper pads.
  18. Use the Temple's nuke to destroy the chopper pads.
  19. Afterward sell the Temple as you only get one nuke per mission.
  20. Build some flame tanks to raise their remaining bases.
  21. You could capture their construction yards and war factories to produce Mammoth Tanks and rocket launchers but that'd be overkill.

This mission and the Nod campaign will be over as soon as all GDI units, GDI structures, and civilian structures have been destroyed.
