Columbus State University is a four year public Liberal Arts institution offering undergraduate and graduate programs. The university has an average yearly enrollment of approximately 7,600 students.

Located along the Chattahoochee River, Columbus State is a 132 acre campus with a sophisticated Center for Commerce and Technology and various apartment style student residences. Known for its School of Music, the university shares space with the RiverCenter for the Performing Arts theater downtown.
