Pikes Peak
Colorado Springs is in close proximity to one of North America's largest and most visited mountains. Pikes Peak stands over 14 thousand feet tall and can be seen from almost anywhere in the city. Named for Zebulon Pike, the mountain is one of the premiere tourist destinations of the Eastern Colorado region and gets thousands of visitors each year.Air Force Academy
