In December of 2007, two shootings occurred within a day in Colorado: one at a Youth With A Mission dormitory in Arvada, and another at the New Life Church in Colorado Springs. Though authorities weren't initially sure if the two cases were linked,Naples News: "...Search for Any Links Between 2 Deadly Shooting Sprees..." (December 10, 2007) they soon established that they were carried out by a single gunman named Matthew Murray.
