2007 National League Champions
The Rockies would experience their finest season to date with it's 2007 Playoff run. The team would secure the National League Wild Card by defeating the San Diego Padres in a one game Playoff. The game lasted thirteen innings with Rockies winning by a score of 9-8. The Rockies would face the Philadelphia Phillies in the National League Division Series. They would sweep the Phillies in three games and face their division rival Arizona Diamondbacks. The Rockies would go on to sweep the Diamondbacks in four straight games, setting up a World Series against the Boston Red Sox.
