The University of Colorado football team plays college football as a member of the North Division of the Big 12 Conference. They play home games at Folsom Field on their campus in Boulder, which is named for their former head coach, Fred Folsom. In 2010, Colorado made the decision to switch conferences from the Big 12 Conference to the Pac-10 Conference. Colorado is one of two teams moving to the Pac-10, joining the University of Utah. The Colorado Buffaloes' football team won their first National Championship during the 1990 season.
