September 15, 2007: World Rally Champion Colin McRae and his five-year-old son died in a tragic helicopter crash near his home in Scotland. All four people on board the helicopter, which McRae was piloting, perished in the crash.
McRae is a legend in the sport of rally racing and is known internationally for his affiliation with the Codemasters series of racing games.
