Actor Colin Hanks rose to fame playing Alex Whitman on the sci-fi series Roswell. He has since appeared on The O.C., Orange County, the 2005 remake of King Kong, roles in several movies that debuted in 2008 and a three-episode guest appearance in AMC's Mad Men. He is currently working on a documentary about the success and demise of the Tower Records music chain. Hanks is the son of actor and producer Tom Hanks.
