Chris Martin Ban
Chris Martin is the lead singer of Coldplay. During the time he will be singing with the band for their Grammy performance, he will be banned from working in the studio on the request of Brian Eno, the band's producer. Martin made the following public statement about the ban: "The letter was to all of us he said that he thought the last album was OK but it could have been much better. He said that he still wanted to work with us on the next album but that I was banned from the studio! He said that it would be better without me for the first two weeks - 'You can do better without the singer'! It has turned out to be a good idea though because the band's been free to try out loads of weird things without me getting in the way."Yorkshire Evening Post: Chris Martin Banned by Coldplay (February 2, 2009)
