The Cold War Kids are a popular Fullerton, California-based Indie Rock band that built an initial buzz online within the music Blogging community based on an extensive touring schedule and the release of their debut EP Mulberry Street. After moving to Los Angeles and signing with Downtown Records, the band released their debut full-length album Robbers & Cowards to universal acclaim. The single "Hang Me Out to Dry" became a hit in the Indie world and received considerable radio airplay. The band is currently working on their second album.

The Cold War began in 1945 during the Yalta Conference from February 4-11. It ended with the fall of the Soviet Union in August 1991.
