  • NHL Career

    Prior to playing in the NHL, Armstrong played in the Western Hockey League for the Red Deer Rebels. Armstrong was drafted by the Pittsburgh Penguins 21st overall in the 2001 NHL Draft. He played for the Wilkes-Barre Penguins in the American Hockey League for three full years before making his NHL debut during the 2005-06 regular season.
