Troy Polamalu reprised Mean Joe Green's performance in an iconic Coke ad for the 2009 Super Bowl. The 2009 edition began with Polamalu limping off the field. A young fan followed him and offered him his Coke Zero. Then the brand managers for Coke Zero run in. Polamalu beats them and offers the young fan a gift.

While the man grabs his Coke and drinks it, the young kid walks away dejected. Green calls the kid back and throws him is game towel as a thank you for the child's generosity.
