After appearing as Cody Gifford during a Saturday Night Live stetch, 17 Again and High School Musical star Zac Efron was confronted by Kathie Lee Gifford on The Today Show. Gifford informed Efron, "[Cody] is way younger than you, way taller than you and way better looking! Thank you very much!" and then she pretended to storm off the set. Efron apologize and they all acknowledge that the impression was in good fun and Gifford gave Efron her son's phone number to the two could chat. Gifford did take one crack at the mop-haired celebrity, saying: "You need to do the hair thing differently.
