The Enemy Intel appear as 30 hidden laptop computers in the Call of Duty 4 single player campaign. When collected, the Intel allow players to unlock specific cheats. Players can obtain two achievements by collecting enemy intel:

1. Look Sharp: Find 15 enemy intel
2. Eyes and Ears: Find 30 enemy intel

After collecting all 30 Intels, players have a choice of eight different gameplay modifications to choose from.

1. A bad year: defeated enemies explode into tires
2. Cluster bombs: Frag grenades separate into four to do more damage
3. CoD Noir: Turns gameplay to black and white
4. Infinite ammo: All weapons have infinite ammo
5. Photo-negative: Inverses color of game
6. Ragtime warfare: Gameplay goes black and white, dust and scratches fill screen and plays at 2x speed
7. Slo-Mo abilities: Play game at half speed
8. Super Contrast: Increases game contrast
