The title is the forth episode in the Call of Duty series and a direct prequel to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

In Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare to activate the cheats you have to collect Intel Pieces. There are 30 Intel Pieces in the game and when you collect a certain number you will unlock several cheats that can be used in the game. The goal is to collect them all and unlock every new feature. This cheats are available on PS3, PC and Xbox 360 as well.

2 Intel Pieces - CoD Noir - Play the game in black and white.

4 Intel Pieces - Photo-Negative - The colors in the game become inverted.

6 Intel Pieces - Super Contrast - The game's contrast increases.

8 Intel Pieces - Ragtime Warfare - The game looks like an old silent movie.

10 Intel Pieces - Cluster Bombs - One frag grenade thrown equals five in explosion.

15 Intel Pieces - A Bad Year - Enemies explode into tires when shot.

20 Intel Pieces - Slow-Mo Ability - The game plays at 40% normal speed.

30 Intel Pieces - Infinite Ammo

The following cheats are available only in the PC version of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. To activate the cheat the player must start the game. Next, the in-game console must be activated. Once the console is active, press ~ . Type seta thereisacow 1337 and press Enter. Type spdevmap bog_a and press Enter again. As soon as the last command is introduced, you can use the following cheats in the game’s console.

It is advisable that you save the game before using any cheats; otherwise you must restart the mission if you get stuck with a cheat that you don’t like.

cg_drawgun - The character drops his gun

cg_fov - The character will zoom the view with any gun

cg_LaserForceOn 1 - Every gun has a laser site

demigod - God Mode

give (item) - Acquire any item

give all - Get any weapon

give ammo - Full ammo

jump_height # - Adjust gravity (where # has values from 1-39)

noclip - No Clipping

notarget - Dumb AI

r_fullbright - Brighter features

timescale # - Adjust the time (1.00 is default)

ufo - No Clipping
