Coconut Records is the new musical project of former Phantom Planet drummer and actor Jason Schwartzman.
Schwartzman began performing as Coconut Records in 2006. He released his debut album, Nighttiming, on Young Baby Records in 2007. The album was produced by Mike Einziger of the band Incubus. Kirsten Dunst and Zooey Deschanel contribute vocals on two of the albums tracks.
