Coco Johnsen began her career as a model and later studied fashion and merchandising to start her own company. Her signature collection, Coco Johnsen Couture, is in its third season and debuted at L.A. Fashion Week 2008. Her line is known for its classic lines with beautifully draped fabric. It's very feminine, and very haute couture.
Along with modeling and fashion design, Johnsen also had a career as an actress, with parts in music videos for artists Melissa Ethridge, Naughty by Nature, and De Angelo. She appeared one year with Jay-Z for the VH1 Awards. Because of her acting talent, she was accepted to the Lee Strasburg Theatre Institute in New York.

Her next more was to New York, where she was "discovered" and signed with an agent who sent her all over the world in an effort to build her modeling portfolio.
