General Care and Tips
- Cockatiels love sunshine, allow your bird to sun itself for at least 20 minutes a day, this will activate vitamin D production.
- It is fine to give your cockatiel small amounts of chicken, it's a good source of protein.
- Vary bird seed for a healthy diet.
- Cockatiels love toys, especially the preening type toys, mix them up so they don't get bored.
- Keep the cage clean.
- Keep wings clipped.
- Trim nails regularly.
- Keep Quickstop (a styptic powder clotting agent safe for birds) handy in case of a bleeding pin feathers or nails.
- Offer fresh food and water daily.
- Cockatiels love to take baths, offer a bathing tub or bowl of water.
- Cuttlebone provides necessary minerals.

One of the baby cockatiels is annoying and loud. Reminds me of old friend Goober or Ozzy Osborne. They're not as bald now

If I let my cockatiels go free which I wouldn't mind cuz I would luv wild cockatiels flying around,the owls & hawks would surely eat dem all
