  • Cocaine Addiction is the physical and mental dependence to the illicit substance cocaine. A person addicted to cocaine will become a totally different person than what they normally were before addiction. The reason cocaine is so addictive is because it affects structures deep in the brain. A cocaine addict is at risk for many serious diseases such as heart disease, HIV, AIDS, strokes and seizures to name a few. There are many treatments available today for cocaine addicts.
