The CMA Awards in 2008 was be the 42nd Country Music Awards show. This televised program honors members of the country music scene. This year country music fans celebrate the CMA Awards in Nashville, Tennessee.

This year's event was hosted by Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood and kicked off with a free concert from Miley Cyrus and her father Billy Ray on ABC's Good Morning America.
