CM Punk is a professional wrestler with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). He currently wrestles for WWE's SmackDown brand.

On May 17, 2009, Punk will go up against Umaga in a singles match on WWE's pay-per-view Judgment Day.

CM Punk started out in backyard wrestling with a group of his friends. After some serious training, Punk wrestled in Ring of Honor and Total Nonstop Action Wrestling. In 2005, he signed a deal with WWE and began work in Ohio Valley Wrestling.

Punk's WWE television debut came in 2006 on an episode of ECW. He continued to use his previous gimmick of being straight edge, with an added background in Muay Thai. Punk would have several minor feuds in ECW until he won the ECW Championship from John Morrison. Punk was beaten for the title by Chavo Guerrero in January 2008. After that, Punk won the Money in the Bank Ladder Match at WrestleMania XXIV to earn a title shot whenever he chooses.
