  • Game Play

The game of Clue is a logical deduction game. Decks of cards for rooms, suspects and weapons card shuffled and then the top cards from each of the three decks are removed and put in an envelope. Shuffle all the cards together and deal them out to the players.

Each player receives a list of the possible suspects, items and rooms, to check off as they are eliminated. The list is kept secret from other players. The cards in a players hand are also clues as they eliminate some choices from the list. Each turn players roll the dice and move their playing piece into a room to suggest that the murder happened there. The suspect and the items are moved into the room to make the suggestion. If the suggestion is wrong another player should show only the card that prove it, and only show it to the accuser.

The game continues until one player deduces all three cards from the envelope in which case he or she may look inside the envelope if correct, that player is the winner. If incorrect the player disqualified from the game.
