  • Club Nintendo Details

Club Nintendo has been a staple in the Japanese market for years, and made its debut in North America in December 2008. The site encourages users to register any Nintendo games or consoles they purchase. The site then rewards consumers with coins for their purchase and for answering surveys. These coins can then be redeemed for exclusive merchandise, such as Nintendo-themed game cases and playing cards.

Nintendo has also put in place a tier system, which gives special status to consumers who reach a certain amount of coins within a set timeframe. These consumers will then be offered even more exclusive merchandise.IGN: Club Nintendo's Soft Launch
