Cloudberry

The cloudberry is a soft, juicy berry about the size of a raspberry. They start out a light red color and turn golden yellow when ripe. They are resistant to cold temperatures and grow wild in the bogs of Alaska, northern Canada and Scandinavia.

Harvest

Cloudberries are mostly harvested by consumers. A picker can pick about 50 pounds of cloudberries a day and sells them for three to six dollars a pound. Cloudberries are harvested during the summer months.Bloomberg.com: Record Cloudberry Crop
