  • A clothes hanger is a device used to hang clothing such as dresses, pants and shirts. The primary shape of a clothing hanger represents the human shoulders, allowing clothing to hang without becoming wrinkled and creased. Some include clamps allowing for the hanging of skirts and pants. Clothes hangers are available in various sizes, allowing for children and adult clothing to be hung without stretching or falling off. Many times baby clothing is hung on clothing hangers that are covered in fabric.

  • Buying Guide

    1. Slacks and cotton pants can wrinkle easily; These should be hung over rounded hangers or hung with clips.
    2. Knit items such as sweaters can stretch easily; These should be folded to avoid unnecessary misshaping.
    3. Many skirts have fabric loops inside; Hangers with loop hangers should be used if possible to hang them correctly.
