Career Highlights
Owen began to hit his stride with American audiences with starring roles in Closer (which earned him a Golden Globe Award and an Oscar nod) and Sin City, the 2005 big screen adaptation of the Frank Miller graphic novel, that included an all star cast of Bruce Willis, Benicio Del Toro and Jessica Alba.In 2005, Owen was rumored to be the next James Bond for the film Casino Royale, but the role was given to Daniel Craig.
