Despite losing the Democratic presidential nomination to Senator Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton has not conceded the race.
Reports have indicated Clinton is taking time to plan her next move, which may or may not involve a concession speech.
Dignified Exit
In a speech following primaries in South Dakota and Montana on June 3, 2008, Clinton told supporters, "It has been a long campaign, and I will be making no decisions tonight."
Aides in the Barack Obama campaign were reportedly planning to offer Clinton a "dignified exit" from the Democratic race. Speculation on a possible Obama Clinton ticket continued, though some reports indicated Obama would not offer Clinton a spot on the ballot as his vice-presidential running mate.
