  • Brief Biography

    Born in Los Angeles, Collins was inspired to become an actor by the example of his grandfather, the prolific Latino actor Pedro Gonzalez-Gonzalez who was best known for playing John Wayne's sidekick in westerns such as Rio Bravo. Collins began appearing in bit film roles in the 1990s, but then had larger roles in a series of popular Hollywood films, including Traffic, The Rules of Attraction , and Capote. In 2006, Collins played a border guard in the Best Picture-nominated film Babel. In 2008, Collins stars in the upcoming baseball film, The Perfect Game, alongside veteran comedian Cheech Marin.
