March 12, 2008: The richest man in England, the Duke of Westminster, was implicated in the Emperors Club VIP scandal that forced the resignation of governor of New York, Eliot Spitzer on March 12. The Duke of Westminster, Gerald Cavendish, was reported to be Client 6 of the Emperors Club. The Duke's behavior was reported in British newspaper the News of the World and he was forced to resign his position at the Ministry of Defence.
