Plot
Micheal, played by Sandler, is a hard working family man in a high pressure business in New York City. Trying to add more order to his life he visits a Bed, Bath and Beyond on late night in search of a universal television remote. At the store he meets a quirky inventor Morty, played by Walken. Morty gives him a special universal remote, that is able to literally pause, remind and fast forward Michael's real life. When he realizes the special powers of the universal remote, he uses constantly and for entertainment, abusing the power so to speak. It is not until the remote breaks and his life is stuck in fast forward that he realizes the harm he is causing by controlling his life in this fashion. -
