One of the most important event of the Cleveland Cavaliers was when David Stern announced the first pick of the Draft. Lebron James was going to be a Cavalier. James he averaged 20.9 points, 5.5 rebounds and 5.9 assists per game during his rookie season. James became just the third rookie in NBA history to average 20+ points, 5+ rebounds and 5+ assists. Only Michael Jordan and Oscar Robertson were the only other rookies to do that. Another exciting event for the Cavaliers was on May 22nd, 2010. The Cleveland Cavaliers were playing the Orlando Magic in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals. The winner of the series would make the NBA Finals. Game 2 had one second left on the clock. The Cavaliers has the ball down 95-93. A 2-point basket would tie the game where a 3-point shot, would win the game. Cavaliers guard Mo Williams inbounded the ball to Lebron James. James shot a three a made the shot before the buzzer sounded. The Cavaliers won the game 96-95.
