The Cleveland Browns arguably have some of the most dedicated fans in the NFL, as even through bad seasons fans still support the Browns. With the Browns having losing seasons since they returned to Cleveland in 1999, the fans have stayed true to their team and always willing to return to watch the brown and orange play every Sunday.
Die-hard fans usually meet right outside of Cleveland Browns stadium hours before kick-off to tailgate and get a few drinks in them. Most of them sporting Browns clothes and make-up. Some even dress as the mascot “dawg” and have dog ears and body paint. Others like to come to the game riding in style. Their have been spotting of vans parked that have been fully painted orange with the brown strips down the middle of the car. Other fans like to bring cups, cornhole boxes, games, and food before the game to tailgate as well.
The Cleveland Browns fans also have gained a reputation as hard-nose fans. Fans who care so much about their team that if another fan wears any other jersey to the game that fan will not have a fun time. Fans harass, make fun of and even sometimes fight other fans. Even fans of Cleveland fight other Cleveland fans and usually are about 3 to 4 fights a game. Fans are also very passionate about their hate towards the Steelers, as fans yell “Pittsburgh Sucks” repeatedly even if the Browns are not playing them. The fans have so much love for the Cleveland Browns that they do not care what others think and fans will do the unimaginable thing to others that stand in their way.
Next time you go to a Cleveland game, make sure you are on their side and if you are the chances of you having a good time are very high.
