Clearwire, founded by Craig McCaw, in 2003, is a wireless Internet service provider based in Kirkland, Washington. They serve customers in the United States, Ireland, Belgium, Denmark and Mexico. In 2008, Clearwire will merge with Sprint and they will build a high-speed wireless network with investments from companies such as Comcast Corp, Intel Corp and Google Inc.

- 2.0 Mbit/s

In Ireland, the following downlink speeds are available:
- 1 Mbit/s
- 2 Mbit/s
- 2.5 Mbit/s
- An uplink of 256 kbit/s is also available
In Denmark, the following downlink speeds are available:
- 512 kbit/s
- 1.0 Mbit/s
- 1.5 Mbit/s
- An uplink of 192 kbit/s is also available
