Australian actress Claudia Black starred in the science fiction TV shows Farscape (as Aeryn Sun) and Stargate SG-1 (as Vala Mal Doran). She also appeared in the 2000 film Pitch Black
Aeryn Sun
Officer Aeryn Sun, a fighter pilot, accidentally became entangled with a ship full of escaped convicts and the Earth scientist John Crichton (Ben Browder), whom she would later marry. Over the course of the series, she would be brought back from the dead, watch Crichton die only to meet his living clone, be disintegrated (and reintegrated), bear Crichton's child (during a gun fight), and help save the universe.
Vala Mal Doran
Daughter of an intergalactic con artist, Vala Mal Doran's body was at one time inhabited by the alien tyrant Qetesh. Once Mal Doran was free, she followed in her father's footsteps, but after contact with Stargate SG-1 decided to change her ways and help save the universe.
