Claude Frantzen is a former official with the French civil aviation authority. He is one of five defendants charged with manslaughter, for negligence that may have led to the crash of Air France Concorde flight 4590, in the year 2000. The crash killed all 109 passengers, as well as four others. It was reportedly caused by a fuel tank explosion due to debris on the runway.
